Mark Devereux founded Devereux & Co in 1996.

The practice of Devereux & Co has grown organically every year, winning new clients from recommendations via existing clients and other professionals and organisations that have been impressed with the quality of our work. We are proud to have exceptionally high client retention rates, and are philosophy is that we are partners with our clients for the ‘long haul’ of their business journey.

We have reinvested in our business to bring you the benefits of the latest information technology, and we have developed a dynamic, forward thinking practice.
We play an active role with our professional body, the ACCA, and since 2003 Mark has served as an elected officer of the Panel of the ACCA Bristol Members’ Network (the management team for our region). He is the current President, and represents our region nationally with the ACCA, and also liaises with the leaders of other professions within our region. This prominent role enables us to ensure that the needs and concerns of both local practices and their clients receive high-level attention.

As a firm of Registered Auditors, we are subject to a stringent monitoring process to ensure that we comply with our professional regulations and produce work of the required standard; our last monitoring visit report concluded that our audit work was of a good standard.

We also received a Quality Checked review, with the outcome that we became one of the first firms to be awarded the new ACCA Quality Checked Award for excellence, your guarantee that we have the highest standard of quality assurance procedures and client care.
